    The annual International Relations on Indonesian Foreign Policy Conference (IROFONIC) is organized by the International Relations Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur. It is geared toward academics, researchers, and professionals in the field of social and political sciences and beyond. This year, IROFONIC 2022 has the theme of "Global Initiatives for Sustainable Development Goals”. The 7th International Relations on Indonesian Foreign Policy Conference 2023 aims for in-depth discussions on global initiatives to be able to achieve sustainable development goals. Indeed, currently the role of the global community is needed in various sectors in achieving sustainable development goals, either through transnational or local initiatives. Not only comparing sustainable development goals in the political, economic, socio-cultural, environmental, and other areas linked to SDG success, it also look at the prospect of future collaboration on SDG accomplishment, which may then be promoted and implemented by local and transnational players. This proceeding is the compilation of research article related to the SDGs, which being presented in the IROFONIC 2023.

    The annual International Relations on Indonesian Foreign Policy Conference (IROFONIC) is an annual conference, hosted by the International Relations Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Jawa Timur. It is geared toward academics and professionals working in the social and political science fields. This year, IROFONIC 2024 has the theme of Strengthening Partnership for Sustainable Development”. In a world increasingly interconnected and faced with both unprecedented challenges and opportunities, collaboration across sectors, borders, and disciplines has become more critical than ever. Sustainable development requires not just isolated efforts, but unified, strategic partnerships that bring together diverse strengths, ideas, and resources. The 8th International Relations on Indonesian Foreign Policy Conference (IROFONIC) aims to address the imperative need for enhanced international cooperation to tackle the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change, poverty, inequality, and resource depletion. Discussions will focus on aligning national and international policies with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering public-private partnerships, and enhancing the role of multilateral institutions. Moreover, the event will highlight successful case studies and innovative approaches to partnership that have demonstrated tangible results in different contexts. By bringing together experts, policymakers, practitioners, and academics, the conference aims to facilitate a rich exchange of ideas and experiences. It seeks to create a platform for forging new alliances and reinforcing existing ones, ultimately contributing to a more resilient and sustainable global community. In line with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this conference emphasizes the importance of partnerships that are inclusive, innovative, and long-lasting. Through collaboration, we can find solutions that are not only effective but also equitable, ensuring that no one is left behind as we work towards a sustainable future for all.
